Salary: $540 / Week

Amergis is seeking compassionate and dedicated School Aides in Santa Maria, CA to support students with instructional and behavioral needs in educational settings. Under the supervision of the special education department, teachers, and designated staff, School Aides play a vital role in helping students succeed academically and socially.

In addition to classroom support, School Aides may assist students with personal care, physical mobility, and therapeutic needs as directed by healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

+ Provide instructional and behavioral assistance to students

+ Support classroom activities and individualized education plans (IEPs)

+ Assist with personal care and mobility needs as required

+ Collaborate with educators, therapists, and other support staff

Minimum Requirements:

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray (if applicable)

+ Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

Compensation:

+ $18/hr
