Job Description Summary:
Duties: Work with internal customers and 3rd party vendors to communicate, coordinate, manage expectations, approve, and assist with system and operational processes such as crisis management, support escalation, change management, release management, capacity management, and other ITIL processes. Analyze, plan, justify, schedule, and coordinate the implementation and maintenance of the administrative, operational, and financial initiatives including TCO (total cost of ownership), optimization, and efficiency. Assist or lead the development of technology strategy and roadmap including design, documentation, communication, and implementation of new or existing standards for infrastructure technologies while remaining current on industry trends. Work with suppliers or vendors to produce outcomes consistent with organizational strategy. Oversee reporting metrics, dashboards, and status reporting to meet expectations for quality and performance for discretionary, support and maintenance work. Plan, monitor, and control operating and capital budget for assigned areas of responsibility. Reports to Columbus, Ohio headquarters but may telecommute from anywhere in Ohio.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related. 8 years of experience in technical engineering. **( Please disregard the high school or GED requirement)**
Subject Matter Expert in Cloud Infrastructure, VMware Virtualization, Server Management & Data Center Transformation and Cloud Migration projects. Certification in VMware Certified Professional, Azure Foundations & Cloud Solutions Architect. Specialized Knowledge in Project management and process excellence with strong analytical data-driven approach to problem solving. Strong interpersonal skills along with proven leadership. Advanced knowledge of and experience with IT technologies, such as endpoint devices, servers, security, network, storage, and telecom.
