• Certified Recreational Therapist - Forensic Psych

    Amergis (Pueblo, CO)


    Salary: $1645 / Week

     

    A Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist who in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team develops a plan of care for each therapy patient and provides skilled recreational therapy services in accordance with physician orders.

    Below are more details on the position:

    -Position: Recreational Therapist

     

    -Shift: Monday-Friday OR Sunday-Thursday 8-5 40 hours

     

    -Pay: $35 / hour for local Certified Recreational Therapists

     

    $1,645 gross weekly for traveler CTRS

     

    -Setting: Forensic Psych

     

    -Start: 12/1

     

    -Length: 24 week contracts (6 Months) possible extension

     

    -Certification: Must be certified by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification and have 3 years experience at a CTRS

    Minimum Requirements:

    + At least one year of current experience in Recreation Therapy preferred

    + Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) per state/client requirement

    + Water Safety and Health Fitness Instructor certifications preferred

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
