About the Role
Are you hands-on, mechanically inclined, and looking for a role where no two days are the same? Join our team as a Service Utility Technician, where you'll play a vital part in keeping our fleet of portable HVAC equipment in top shape. From assembling and loading/unloading equipment to performing minor repairs and inspections, your work will directly support our mission to deliver reliable climate solutions to our customers. On-the-job training will be provided to develop your skills.
What You’ll Do
+ Assemble machine components (pipes, electrical connections, mechanical fasteners, etc.)
+ Safely load and unload HVAC equipment from trucks and trailers
+ Perform touch-up painting and sheet metal fabrication/ modification
+ Operate forklifts to move and organize materials
+ Wash and inspect returned equipment, reporting any damage
+ Perform minor repairs and maintenance
+ Communicate professionally with customers and team members
+ Work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather
What You Bring
+ Education: High School diploma required
+ Preferred: Vocational or technical training in a related field
+ Experience:
+ Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
+ Mechanical aptitude or general technical service skills
+ Basic plumbing and pipe-fitting knowledge is a plus
+ Basic understanding of electrical system principles
+ Strong organizational and communication skills
+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
+ Basic computer skills for documentation and communication

Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of this job include lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs. and pulling up to 50 lbs. Standing, sitting, and climbing up and down stairs, as well as standing, sitting, and climbing into machines. Dexterity Normal. Repetitive Motions: Frequent movements requiring the use of hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
