JOB SUMMARY As a Parts Supervisor at Oshkosh Aerotech, you will lead and coordinate the daily operations of parts and inventory management to support maintenance, repair, and preventative operations. You’ll oversee procurement, vendor relations, material coordination, team performance, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This hands-on role combines leadership and operational oversight to ensure parts availability, inventory accuracy, and seamless support for ongoing maintenance activities in a dynamic airport environment. YOUR IMPACT These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned. + Supervise daily parts and inventory operations, including team scheduling, work orders, procurement, receiving, and material distribution. + Lead, train, and mentor team members to promote operational excellence, safety awareness, and customer satisfaction. + Create, maintain, and improve processes to ensure materials and parts are readily available for repair and preventative maintenance operations. + Evaluate vendor quotes and performance; negotiate purchases and monitor contract compliance to ensure best value and adherence to standards. + Verify incoming materials, part numbers, and documentation; resolve discrepancies such as damaged or incorrect shipments. + Maintain accurate inventory records within the CMMS system, ensuring timely data entry and reconciliation. + Support operational managers by analyzing material usage trends, tracking KPIs, and developing reports to improve performance and reduce downtime. + Promote a culture of safety through daily leadership, participation in inspections, and adherence to company safety programs and training. + Participate in shift handovers, team briefings, performance reviews, recruiting, and operational meetings. + Operate and oversee the safe use of company vehicles, forklifts, and material handling equipment as required. PAY RANGE $35 - $39 per hour MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS + High School Diploma or GED equivalent. + Valid Driver’s License. + 2+ years of experience in material purchasing, inventory control, or maintenance support. + 1–3 years of supervisory or team lead experience in an operational or maintenance environment. + Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge. + Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or business-related field. + Experience in airport operations, airline ground support, or facility maintenance. + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CMMS or maintenance tracking systems. + Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, parts diagrams, and technical documentation. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of Parts Supervisor, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and communicate clearly. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is performed primarily in airport operations areas, including warehouses, maintenance shops, and baggage system enclosures. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, aircraft operations, weather conditions, fumes, and vibration. The noise level is typically loud, requiring adherence to all safety and PPE requirements. Pay Range: $63,500.00 - $101,700.00 The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
