The position involves leading the planning and execution of high-impact events for multiple business units at NVIDIA, targeting both enterprise and developers. The role requires overseeing a diverse portfolio of events to drive engagement, brand awareness, and business objectives while managing a team of event managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic event plans, ensuring exceptional attendee experiences, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcomes. What you’ll be doing: + Research, assess and evaluate event opportunities, providing guidance and insights to leadership. + Develop and implement strategic event plans aligned with company goals. + Lead and guide a team of event managers, supporting their growth and development. + Allocate resources and assign projects within the team based on individual strengths. + Collaborate with cross-functional leadership teams to identify event objectives. + Lead the corporate, enterprise and developer hosted event budget portfolio, managing costs and tracking spends. + Develop and be responsible for a regular reporting cadence on event metrics for executive leadership. + Work closely with cross functional teams such as creative services for all event deliverables including signage, demo and collateral development and IT/demo owners to track demo equipment needs and inventory to prepare the booth What we need to see: + Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience). + 10+ overall years of experience in running corporate events, with at least 5 years in Management position. + Ability to travel internationally for week-long periods 5-6 times a year. + Strong leadership and team management skills. + Excellent project management and organizational abilities. + Proficient in using event management software and tools. + Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. + Knowledge of event technologies and industry trends. + Demonstrated success in leading Conference operations and tradeshow exhibits + Experience with virtual and hybrid event formats. Ways to stand out from the crowd: + Event agency background and strong vendor relationships + MBA or relevant advanced degree. + Familiarity with marketing and sales processes in a B2B environment. + Background with consumer and developer audience targets. + Product launch and user group planning experience involving elaborate A/V and stage sets We have some of the most hard-working and skilled people on the planet working for us! The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD for Level 4, and 216,000 USD - 345,000 USD for Level 5. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits (https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/benefits/) .
