• School Speech Language Pathologist - Part Time

    Work school hours! The Katherine Thomas High School, a program of TLC in Rockville, MD has an opportunity for a 20 hours/week, 10- month Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) beginning with the current school year. KTHS services students in grades 9-12 with language, learning, sensory motor disabilities and/or high functioning autism. School hours are 7:30am - 2:30pm. EOE

     

    The position is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students who exhibit communication learning problems related to speech, pragmatic language and autism. Small caseloads and great IDT experience.

     

    Rate of pay is $32,500 to $40,000 for 20 hours/week for 10 months plus benefits, DOE

    Required Experience for the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP):

    + Maryland Speech License or be eligible at the time of hire

    + Master's in Speech Pathology, Speech and Hearing or equivalent program

    + Experience in Augmentative systems, Visualizing and Verbalizing and Social Thinking is a plus

    + Experience with pediatric population in a school setting preferred
