The OCE Director will reside within the Johnson and Johnson Oncology Organization and will report to the National Director of Field Franchise. This role oversees a customer facing field based team that are responsible for providing clinical education for the Johnson and Johnson Oncology brands primarily focused on PI-based and disease state education to non-physician patient care teams (PCT), including nurses, nurse navigators, pharmacists, and other advanced practice providers (APPs), such as Nurse Practitioners and Physician’s Assistants to drive positive PCT and patient experiences. OCEs support a patient experience through the PCT that focuses on the whole patient, addressing educational needs related to both clinical and behavioral aspects of treatment and disease management.
The Director is responsible for partnering closely with key internal stakeholders to develop the OCE strategy across Hematology brands. This leader and his/her team will elevate and transform our support services to drive Johnson and Johnson Oncology market leadership and create a competitively differentiated HCP customer and patient experience. The leadership of this team will include key components such as improvements to existing Clinical Educator support programs, holding team accountable through expectation setting, support service innovations to improve customer and patient experience, development of field-based resources to improve PCT education and patient care, and the development of new resource offerings and transformational business models.
This position will require the ability to work seamlessly within a matrix environment. This includes Oncology Brand Teams, Field Sales, Strategic Customer Group, Franchise Strategy, Access Services, Medical Affairs, Training and our HCC & Legal partners.
The OCE National Director is responsible for conducting all activities in accordance with current regulatory and health care compliance guidelines and in alignment with the OCE Rules of Engagement.
In addition to the above, **responsibilities** will include, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Lead, manage, and develop a team of field-based Oncology Clinical Educator managers and Oncology Clinical Educators (“OCEs”), ensuring that the team is fully equipped to deliver high-quality education programs.
+ Hire and develop nursing managers and provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and support to OCEs to help them achieve professional growth and excellence in their roles.
+ Implement nursing education goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics to meet or exceed brand and business goals.
+ Conduct regular field visits, provide feedback, and ensure that in-services and education programs are being effectively executed and approved clinical and market-based information is effectively utilized.
+ Collaborate with internal cross functional partners (Marketing, training, legal, compliance, field operations) teams to design, develop and implement tools, systems, guidelines, and processes that enhance education resources, capability, and operations.
+ Manage the development of key nursing relationships within institutions/accounts.
+ Build and support high functioning relationships with field partners and co-promote partners to ensure appropriate and compliant coordination of education activities.
+ Support development and execution of Key Account plans in close coordination with in-field teams and co-promote partners.
Qualifications
+ Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree **required** in nursing or related field
+ NP or RN **required** , with MBA strongly preferred
+ Direct patient care or advanced science background preferred
+ In-line marketing experience (professional and/or consumer) preferred
+ Minimum of 5 years industry experience **required**
+ Minimum 3 years of people management **required**
+ Experience with specialty products (preferably Oncology and/or infusion) **required**
+ Knowledge and/or experience with direct to patient education initiatives highly preferred
+ Previous experience in launching new specialty pharmaceutical/biologics products or indications is preferred
+ Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Ability to develop strong partnerships and work cross functionally being of our employees, their families and the communities in which we live and work.The anticipated base pay range for this position is $160,000 to $276,000. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

+ Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
