    The Logistics Operations Analyst will organize and handle a variety of logistics functions to ensure the smooth flow of shipments (inbound & outbound) within the United States. The Logistics Operations Analyst also supports global projects in alignment with operations strategy. This position will report directly to the Tektronix Global Logistics Manager.

    Responsibilities:

    + Performance management of 3rd party logistics providers and liaison between manufacturing operations, order management and regional logistics leaders. This includes regular operations reviews, management of KPIs, continuous improvement and resolution of issues with logistics providers.

    + Develop standard work with logistics providers and manufacturing operations, educate users and stakeholders

    + Manage process flow to ensure the lowest TCO and timely arrival of shipments to customers.

    + Troubleshoot and drive to resolution any logistics issues (documentation, materials, IT system, etc.) that are impacting shipments; escalate to Global Logistics Manager as needed.

    + Participate in reconciliation of logistics and freight payment issues.

    + Perform routine transactions within Oracle MRP system, facilitate testing and implementation of system configuration changes as rolled out by the IT organization.

    + Develop cost savings initiatives that support the global transportation and logistics strategy.

    + Deliver results that meet or exceed the regional operating plan objectives. :

    Qualifications:

    Here’s what we’ll need from you:

    + 2+ years of experience in Logistics, Transportation or Supply Chain Management.

    + Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience

    + Experience working with domestic transportation carriers, ocean and air freight forwarders, customs brokers and import / export compliance.

    + Knowledge of international logistics operations and trade regulations, including ITAR, AEO, CTPAT are desirable.

    + History working with 3rd party logistics providers, multiple inventory locations and spare parts depots, electronic manufacturing experience is a plus.

    + Familiarity with MRP (Oracle preferred), S&OP and WMS tools.

    + Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead virtual teams.

    + Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.

    Bonus or Equity

     

    This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

    Pay Range

    The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 47,500.00 - 88,100.00
