The Providence Heart Institute in Portland, Oregon, the highest volume provider of cardiovascular services in the region, is seeking to hire a board-certified/board-eligible Cardiac Surgeon for their flagship program at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.

* Join 4 established surgeons performing over 800 cases per year, including transplant and LVAD

* Leading program in complex transcatheter valve/structural heart procedures

* High volume cardiogenic shock/MCS program

* Advanced interventional cardiology and electrophysiology services

* Excellent support with APC’s, dedicated CICU and 24/7cardiac intensivists

* A robust portfolio of clinical trials as well as opportunities for investigator-initiated research exist through CARDS (Center for Cardiovascular Research and Data Science).

The Providence Heart Institute is an integrated cardiovascular service line with more than 80 specialists serving hospital and clinic locations throughout Oregon and southwest Washington. In addition, the program is a hub for vast data registries in cardiovascular care, including the Center for Cardiovascular Analytics, Research and Data Science (CARDS). This state-of-the-art institute is a leader in new therapies, and consistently receives national recognition, including the American Heart Association’s “Get With The Guidelines” designation for coronary artery disease care.
