UPMC Presbyterian is hiring a Flex Full-Time MRI Technologist to join our innovative Imaging team! You'll enjoy a flexible schedule with varied daylight, evening, and night shifts, plus weekend and holiday rotations - offering exposure to diverse cases and a collaborative, learning-focused environment. What You'll Do
+ Perform MRI imaging procedures safely and accurately while maintaining MR safety standards.
+ Verify patient identity, review orders, and prepare patients for exams, including contrast administration as needed.
+ Review, process, and archive imaging studies while ensuring all exams are coded, tracked, and documented properly.
+ Communicate clearly with patients and team members to provide efficient, compassionate care.
+ Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality results.
+ Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology, or completion of an accredited CNMT, ARMRIT or ARDMS program.
+ ARRT registry eligible technologist must obtain ARRT within 6 months of hire date.
+ MR registry must be acquired within 18 months of the date the primary registry was acquired.
+ CNMT, ARDMS and ARMRIT graduates must obtain MR registry within 12 months of hire date.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
+ ARRT registry eligible technologist must obtain ARRT within 6 months of hire date. MR registry must be acquired within 18 months of the date the primary registry was acquired. CNMT, ARDMS and ARMRIT graduates must obtain MR registry within 12 months of hire date.
+ ARRT Certificate OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC) OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) OR American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT)
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
