Director, Children's Hospital Transplant

The Director is responsible for the operational and financial performance of all CHP transplant including abdominal, kidney, and heart lung transplantation services. In this role, you will oversee human, financial, and material resources in partnership with physician leaders across transplant services to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered, and cost-efficient care. The Director demonstrates a strong commitment to enhancing children's health and well-being by fostering excellence in clinical care, advancing medical education, supporting impactful research initiatives and growing the department.
Occasional travel to various locations may be required
Responsibilities:
+ Ensure that all quality control processes and procedures are conducted, documented and meet necessary standards.
+ Ensure compliance with requirements of appropriate regulatory agencies (UNOS, CORE, OSHA, JCAHO, DOH, etc.) as well as CHP and program quality assurance committee.
+ Collaborate with the CHP health insurance contracting office and UPP contracting office to develop payer contracting strategies and maximize hospital and practice plan revenue for transplantation services.
+ Monitor clinical productivity of the practice and develops and implements process improvement programs for all clinical operations including scheduling, registration, patient flow, charge entry, etc.
+ Works with providers and schedulers to develop efficient clinical schedules.
+ Create and proliferate a customer service focus within the programs; review customer satisfaction data, identify opportunities for improvement and implement action plans to address service opportunities.
+ Develop annual capital and operating budgets for program and manages the operations of the department (s) within the budget or financial plan.
+ Works collaboratively with the CHP administration, Starzl Institute administration, transplant physician leaders and planning and marketing staff to develop business and/or marketing plans for the growth and expansion of the clinical activity and research services in both the transplant and multinational services programs.
+ Provide management leadership for the ICARE, hepatology and transplant service lines.
+ Ensure completion and accuracy of all regulatory forms and data requests from various agencies and payers related to all aspects of transplantation including RFIs, UNOS reporting etc. Track information on volumes, survival rates, LOS and market share, among other types of data as requested.
+ Master's degree in Public Health, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
+ 5 years of experience in a Healthcare Program, preferably in Transplant Program Management.
+ RN PreferredLicensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
+ Act 31 / Act 33 / Act 34 / Act 73 with renewal
