    GENERAL FUNCTION:

    Performs a wide range of complex analytical support functions. Apply analytical skills to provide high quality work product to support calling efforts of Bond Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, Corporate & Investment Banking, and other deal team members in the award of corporate bond underwriting mandates.

     

    Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Ability to find, research and assess financial information.

    + Strong financial analysis skills, specifically credit based and corporate finance expertise.

    + Familiarity with Public Company financials and Edgar.

    + Broad understanding of Investment Grade and High Yield bond mechanics.

    + Broad understanding of public debt markets and willingness to expand knowledge base and develop expertise in markets.

    + Develop familiarity with broad economic and market trends.

    + Assist with database maintenance.

    + Preparation of pitch materials and market updates for client meetings.

    + Participate in accounting, business and legal due diligence calls for underwritten debt offerings.

    + Willingness to work long hours during busy periods.

    + Work cross-collaboratively with Leveraged Finance, Corporate & Investment Banking, and other team members on presentations and projects.

    + Build a network of colleagues within firm and externally to strengthen career.

    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

    + Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future

    + Graduating Class of 2026

    + GPA 3.0 or higher

    + Experience or demonstrated interest in Corporate & Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, and/or Capital Markets a plus.

    + Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79,63 license preferred (or to be obtained immediately after start date).

    + Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required.

    + Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, IFR Markets, Advantage Data and S&P Leveraged Commentary a plus.

    + Ability to multi-task, while maintaining attention to detail.

    + Ability to work in a time sensitive environment.

    + Excellent communication skills, oral and written.

    + Excellent interpersonal skills and good team interaction capabilities.

    + Strong entrepreneurial spirit.

    + Strong interest in debt capital markets.

    + Relevant internships and co-op program experience

    We offer a competitive base salary that is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the US.     Total Base Pay Range 53,400.00 - 109,500.00 USD Annual
