    The Position

    The Opportunity:

    Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing exceptional support to customers.

     

    + As a Field Engineering Specialist, you will travel and showcase your expertise in technical repair and installation for Roche assigned product lines.

    + You will offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your assigned territory.

    + The role involves routine technical support, on-site service, repair, and installation of Roche products.

    + You will serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues and perform preventative maintenance.

    + The position requires diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.

    + You will document all activities, contribute to quality improvement, and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction.

    Who You Are:

    + High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or work experience are required.

    + 5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking is necessary. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 1-2 years of progressive experience will suffice.

    + Successful completion of training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy is mandatory.

    + The ability to travel, including overnight travel, is a requirement for this role.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 8+ years of progressive experience or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 4+ years of progressive experience are required.

    + Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, information technology, and basic chemistry.

    + The ability to serve as an internal technical resource, provide support after hours and on weekends/holidays, and maintain strong customer relationships is essential.

     

    This is a field-based role that requires daily travel and up to 30% overnight travel. Our ideal candidate would reside within the service region, which includes: Orange County, Los Angeles County (Northern & Central), Ventura County, and Santa Barbara County. Multiple Roles Available.

     

    The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $72,300 and $134,300 of hiring range. **_Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law_** . A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
