The Sr. Network Engineer is responsible for technical oversite of critical network infrastructure, functional team members, expert level in-depth analysis, complex problem solving, design, capacity planning, implementation, configuration, administration, support and maintenance of CentraCare's critical enterprise network infrastructure. Activities include technical oversite of critical network infrastructure, lead complex networking projects, specialized in-depth analysis of network performance, capacity planning and design, ensuring uptime, resource availability; matching the organization's resources with the demand placed on them; proactively monitoring network performance and capacity; identifying and lead resolving complexed network problems; upgrading network hardware and software equipment; ensuring the quality, accuracy and security of the network. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.

Schedule:

+ Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud

+ Days | Monday - Friday working hours between 8am-5pm

Pay and Benefits:

+ Starting pay begins at $87,208.98 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience

+ Salary range: $87,208.98 - $130,890.14 per year

+ Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar subject, equivalent work experience can be substituted in lieu of education

+ 9 years or more years of experience work on Cisco enterprise data networks

+ One of the following within 2 years of employment: Cisco CCNA or greater is required

+ If primary job duties assigned are not specifically related to working on Cisco software and hardware – Cisco CCT, Network+ certification or certification in area of primary responsibility is acceptable

+ Certified Cisco Specialist or Cisco Certified Network Professional preferred

+ Expert level knowledge of theories, practices and procedures with a variety of network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN, wireless and Firewall network operations

+ Expert level knowledge in advance routing, switching configurations

+ Expertise in Firewall configurations and network security tools and practices

+ Expertise in Cisco’s ACI, DNA Center, SD-LAN/WAN, Live-Action, Prime, MSE and ISE

+ Ability to provide operational oversite, direction and guidance to functional team members

+ Expert in-depth troubleshooting, analytical, diagnostic and critical thinking skills

+ Ability to prioritize work assignments and/or problem solutions to endure completion within established timeframes
