             Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Senior **Systems Administrator** to join the Machine-assisted Analytic Rapid-repository System (MARS) Advanced Development Operations (DevOps) and Sustainment Support (ADOS) program and provide on-site technical and administrative support to facilitate operations of critical MARS infrastructure and services.This effort focuses on providing a comprehensive set of System/ Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/ modernize MARS. Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated decision expected by Winter/ Spring 2026** **. The Senior **Systems Administrator** responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Manage and maintain the infrastructure that powers networks and operating systems such as UNIX, Linux, and Windows. + Install and configure hardware and software, manage user accounts and permissions, monitor system performance, troubleshoot (Tier 1-3) issues, mobile devices, and implement and ensure compliance with applicable system security controls. + Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning. + Ensure IT Assets remain compliant with Identity & Access Control Management (ICAM) policyand communicate and coordinate system changes. Required Education, Experience, & Skills + Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM). + Experience with ServiceNow platform. + Proficiency in developing and executing SQL queries to troubleshoot and resolve issues. + Experience with SQL scripting, Java, Windows Server, Linux, Oracle, Tomcat, data backups, and load balancing. + Knowledge and understanding of Trusted Thin Client and enhanced VDI (e.g., remote GPU and memory scaling). + Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). + Level II: Bachelors and 5-8 years of experience or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree. + Level III: Bachelors and 9-17 years of experience or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Desired Qualifications: + IAT certification. + ITIL v4 platform certification. Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
