Job Description
Actively support Safety and Health programs by engaging with field personnel to promote compliance, reinforce best practices, and drive the overall success of safety initiatives. Serve as a visible safety leader in the field by coaching and mentoring both employees and contractors to foster a strong safety culture. Collaborate with staff across all departments, including employees, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure consistent safety standards. Assist with the implementation and execution of Golden Pass SSH&E programs in the field by reviewing start work checks, encouraging last-minute risk assessments, and leading toolbox talks. Perform hazard identification walks and support the resolution of findings, while also conducting safety walks to address key areas of concern. Participate in incident investigations when requested, and promote site recognition and rewards programs to encourage positive safety behaviors and continuous improvement.

Skills and Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Safety related role.
Associate’s degree or the equivalent field experience, in
Occupational Safety and Health related field.
OSHA 30 & OSHA 510 certification or better safety and health training
Experience in lifting and rigging, crane operations, confined space, working at heights.
Work permitting experience (elevated work, crane lifts, confined space, excavation, LOTO, etc.)
Proficient in MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to speak comfortably to large group.
