    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Sr Business Analyst to support the analysis and reporting needs of the Virginia Credit Union (VACU) Cards & Payments team. This role focuses on both product strategy and fraud management within Cards & Payments. The candidate will utilize various reporting tools, online platforms, scripts, and queries to extract, clean, interpret, and prepare data. The goal is to answer business questions and deliver actionable insights and recommendations. In addition to providing analytic results, responsibilities include producing reports, dashboards, and establishing repeatable processes. The salary for this role is $91-100k depending on skillset.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    In-depth understanding of operations and data within credit unions, banks, or other financial institutions

     

    Solid foundation in financial services products, with a preference for experience in credit cards

     

    Expertise in business analysis techniques and methodologies

     

    Skilled in developing data visualizations, reports, and dashboards

     

    Experienced in using self-service Business Intelligence tools to organize and retrieve data

     

    Familiarity with writing database queries and integrating data from multiple sources

     

    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint

     

    Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

     

    Working knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server tools (such as SSMS) is preferred

     

    Experience with business process analysis is a plus
