Quality Control Technician - Cartridge Assembly

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect micro-scale components and cartridges assembled by production staff using approved procedures and under a microscope for extended periods (5–6+ hours/day).
- Perform in-process and final inspections to verify mechanical and electronic assembly quality, including wire harnesses, pin insertion, and microfluidic device integration.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed quality records in compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with assemblers and production leads to identify and resolve quality issues in real time.
- Ensure compliance with gowning protocols (hairnets, shoe covers, gowns) and cleanroom standards.
- Use hand tools and basic electronic testing equipment to validate product functionality.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on recurring defects or process inefficiencies.
- Assist in training team members on quality standards and inspection techniques.

Skills and Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in quality control or inspection in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment.
- Experience working with a microscope.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under a microscope for extended periods.
- Pipetting experience
- HPLC testing experience
- Liquid agents testing
- Sample prep experience
- They will be coming from microbiology or biochemistry background
- Experience in a quality control lab, pharma lab, or food manufacturing lab
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
