             Job Description Informatica Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud platforms (IICS and IDMC), with deep expertise in Oracle database systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless data integration, supporting enterprise data warehousing, optimizing performance, and driving modernization through cloud migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with Informatica MDM, Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), and Change Data Capture (CDC), along with strong Oracle database expertise. This role is key to enabling seamless data integration, data governance, and modernization through cloud migration. Skills and Requirements • 7–10 years of experience developing and maintaining ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, and IDMC. • Strong expertise in Oracle databases (SQL/PLSQL, performance tuning, and connectivity troubleshooting). • Proven experience in migrating legacy ETL processes (e.g., PowerCenter, DVL, PeopleSoft) to cloud-based platforms. • Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM, IDQ, and CDC for data mastering, quality, and real-time synchronization. • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, SCDs, and dimensional modeling. • Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting, Python, and DevOps tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Control-M). • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams. Primary Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and manage ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, and IDMC to meet enterprise data integration needs. • Configure and maintain Oracle database connections, including connection strings, authentication, and access control. • Develop and troubleshoot federated SQL queries across sql/Oracle/Sybase/DB2 systems. • Conduct analysis of existing workflows built using DVL and lead their migration to modern platforms as part of the DVL Migration initiative. • Conduct analysis of existing workflows built for PeopleSoft project and lead their migration to modern platforms as part of the PeopleSoft to SAP Migration initiative. • Troubleshoot and resolve Oracle DB connectivity issues such as TNS resolution errors and host configuration challenges. • Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in Informatica Designer, with in-depth understanding of all transformation types and mapping logic. • Analyze and resolve session failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to ensure data pipeline reliability. • Lead or support the migration of legacy ETL processes from on-premise platforms (e.g., PowerCenter) to cloud-based environments like IICS and IDMC. • Monitor ETL job executions, analyze logs, and collaborate with DBA and infrastructure teams for timely issue resolution. • Document and maintain SOPs for connection setup, job scheduling, and access provisioning using tools such as Jenkins and Control-M. IDMC-Specific Responsibilities: • Leverage IDMC’s AI-powered data integration and metadata-driven architecture to automate and optimize data pipelines. • Implement real-time and batch ingestion using IDMC’s native connectors for cloud and on-premise systems. • Integrate data quality, cataloging, and governance features within IDMC to ensure trusted and compliant data delivery. • Collaborate with architects to design cloud-native, scalable, and reusable data pipelines. Additional Responsibilities with MDM, IDQ, and CDC: • Use Informatica MDM to manage and maintain golden records, hierarchies, and survivorship rules across domains. • Apply Informatica IDQ to profile, cleanse, and validate data quality rules within ETL pipelines. • Implement CDC (Change Data Capture) strategies to enable near real-time data synchronization and reduce latency in data movement. • Ensure data consistency and lineage across systems using MDM-IDQ-IDMC integration. Technical Skills: • ETL Tools: Informatica PowerCenter v10.x, Informatica Cloud (IICS), Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), Informatica MDM, Informatica IDQ • Data Movement: Change Data Capture (CDC) implementation and tuning • Databases: Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Sybase, RDS, and advanced SQL techniques • Scripting: Unix/Linux shell scripting, Python. • Data Warehousing: SCD types (1/2/3), dimensional modeling, performance tuning • DevOps & Scheduling: GitHub, Jenkins, Control-M
