SUMMARY OF JOB

Director of Nursing, Ambulatory Surgery Center ( DON ASC )

Provides leadership to maximize the quality of care and positive patient outcomes, while providing an efficient cost-effective operation of the surgical process of Holy Redeemer Ambulatory Surgery Center. Functions according to policies, procedures, philosophy and maintains cooperative responsibility for environmental control, staff/personnel, assistance to surgeons, maintenance of material and equipment and education of personnel.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS

Registered Nurse currently licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

BSN required

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operating Room or Post-anesthesia Care Unit.

Prior management experience with recent experience in Quality Improvement required. Regulatory compliance within an Ambulatory Surgery Center environment preferred.

LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:

Pennsylvania RN license
