    _The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._

    Responsibilities:

    Develops and executes creative strategies to effectively promote the brand and services for a large division or school. Leads the strategic development of creative messaging, overseeing production of final concepts and providing direction for concept development, copywriting, and production staff.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    + Leads and oversees marketing strategy and plan development, creative and communication strategy development, and campaign/program planning by identifying appropriate business and marketing objectives and interpreting brand strategy. Leads and oversees the creative team to develop and execute innovative and effective messaging and campaigns.

    + Works collaboratively with the Marketing Strategist and Communications teams to lead the development of creative strategy and brief development. Collaboratively directs external agency partner(s) to develop recommendations for message placement across traditional and digital media. Leads the development of creative concepts, both written and visual, that align with the approved creative strategies and briefs. Oversees concept refinements.

    + Directs the overall process of video production. Develops storyboards, scripts, and written treatments from the approved concepts. Oversees the production of final print, visual, and audio elements. Oversees the quality control, legal review, and proofreading process for all work to be produced and ensures a documented process for all final and approved work produced. Oversees the post-production process, including editing, sound design, music procurement, special effects/animation and final mixing and color correction.

    + Supervises members of the Creative team. Manages HR needs of the department and staff. Provides leadership and oversight to ensure that creative messaging, concepts, and campaigns are implemented efficiently and effectively. Provides input into capital and/or operational budgets. Assists Sr Leadership in setting and managing the annual marketing budget. Ensures budgets assigned for marketing and communications plans and campaigns are met.

    + Works with the Communications Team to ensure creative concepts and media plans and strategies align with, are informed by, and contribute to the work and programs across all of Communications. Develops processes to ensure communication strategy and plan execution is appropriately managed.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    + Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or related field and 15+ years of relevant and progressive experience required

    + Master's degree preferred

    + Or equivalent combination of education and experience

    + 5 years of supervisory experience preferred

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    + Knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules and HIPAA consent authorization process preferred

    + Demonstrated proficiency in writing and editing content preferred

    + Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills preferred
