Position Overview

Navistar is seeking a Production Planner to join our team at our Manufacturing Facility in San Antonio Texas

The Production Planner plans, coordinates and/or performs manufacturing setup of products through the production process. They coordinate and execute process to ensure materials are provided according to production requirements.

Responsibilities

+ Works with Industrial engineering team to understand future parts and/or process introductions and setup part routing updates.

+ Facilitates and coordinates activities with Industrial and Manufacturing Engineers, as well as Launch team to support and execute product changes and new introductions.

+ Support pilot build operations in hands on activities to ensure successful builds.

+ Develop, document, and maintain documents that standardize operations, including but not limited to SWI, Build Books, Visual aids, etc.

+ Participate in corrective actions related to internal or external defects in pilot builds.

+ Performs and executes training plans, prepares build books, coordinates pilot builds, and captures and follows up all issues identified in the implementation process.

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree

OR

+ At least 2 years of production control/planning and/or customer service experience

Additional Requirements

+ Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
