Position Overview
IDEX Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and business-savvy Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) Functional Consultant to support the continued rollout and optimization of our enterprise CRM platform across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service, and Project Operations modules—translating complex business requirements into scalable solutions that enhance customer experience and drive commercial excellence.
This role is integral to IDEX’s digital transformation journey, collaborating across our Commercial, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Support functions to deliver consistent, high-quality user experience in Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Design & Delivery
+ Lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements, business processes, and user stories.
+ Translate business needs into fit-for-purpose Dynamics 365 CE configurations leveraging out-of-the-box capabilities wherever possible.
+ Develop and maintain solution design documents, process maps, and functional specs aligned with FastTrack “Success by Design” principles.
+ Support data modeling, migration mapping, and integration specifications with ERP, Power BI, and other enterprise systems.
+ Configure entities, forms, views, business rules, workflows, Power Automate flows, and dashboards.
+ Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and testers to validate solutions through SIT and UAT phases.
Business Engagement & Support
+ Serve as a trusted advisor to business unit stakeholders (Sales, Service, Marketing, Operations).
+ Participate in MVP deployments, phase-2 enhancements, and post-go-live optimization efforts.
+ Provide training, user adoption materials, and best-practice guidance to key users and regional champions.
+ Drive adoption of the IDEX CRM governance framework, ensuring adherence to naming conventions, ALM, and data governance standards.
Continuous Improvement & Governance
+ Participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning under Agile/Hybrid project methodologies.
+ Work with Product Owners and Architects to define roadmap features and enhancement requests.
+ Ensure alignment with IDEX Information Security, Compliance, and Change Management policies.
+ Support Copilot and AI Builder enablement initiatives and Power Platform governance maturity.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
+ 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Dynamics 365 CE Functional Consultant or equivalent role.
+ Proven experience in one or more of the following modules: Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Project Operations, or Customer Insights.
+ Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages).
+ Ability to elicit business requirements, perform fit/gap analysis, and deliver functional documentation.
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across global teams.
+ Proficient in Agile project delivery using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant Associate (Sales, Service, or Field Service).
+ Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert or Customer Insights – Data/Journeys.
+ Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with JD Edwards, SAP, Salesforce, or custom ERP systems.
+ Knowledge of IDEX Commercial Excellence framework and product business models (manufacturing, distribution, aftermarket support).
+ Experience supporting multi-business, multi-region CRM deployments.

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 - $165,000.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
