    Micron’s US Site Procurement Operations team is seeking a high-performing intern to support procurement activities across Boise factories. This role offers exposure to factory startup readiness, supplier engagement, and digital transformation initiatives. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams and gain hands-on experience in capital procurement, supplier management, and process optimization.

     

    This role is part of a strategic pipeline for future full-time hiring.

    Responsibilities

    + Own one or more factory areas to procure capital equipment and materials

    + Manage tactical stakeholder and supplier relationships

    + Support supplier contract management and negotiation

    + Contribute to business process improvements

    + Lead digital transformation efforts using AI tools to improve work efficiency

    Minimum Requirements

    + Pursuing B.S. or M.S., and majoring in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field

    + Junior or Senior in college, or 2nd-year M.S. student

    + Minimum GPA of 3.5

    + Candidate must be available to start in January 2026, and work 40 hours per week through the end of the summer.

    + Demonstrated interest in digital transformation, AI, and automation as it applies to procurement

    + Must be a full-time student, and not graduate prior to September 2026.

    Preferred Requirements

    + Strong analytical and communication skills

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and basic data and Microsoft tools

    + Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

    + Prior internship or experience in supply chain or procurement preferred
