KBR is seeking an experienced and strategic Americas Server, Storage, and Backup Lead to lead regional infrastructure operations across the Americas. Reporting to the Senior Director of IT for Infrastructure, this role will oversee the performance, availability, and security of server, storage, and backup platforms, ensuring reliable service delivery in alignment with corporate IT standards. While focused on the Americas region, the successful candidate will work closely with the Global Server, Storage, and Backup Manager and regional leads in APAC and EMEA to ensure strategies are aligned and consistently implemented across all regions. This position offers the opportunity to lead critical infrastructure services supporting KBR’s mission, drive operational excellence, and influence technology direction. Key Responsibilities: + Provide leadership and oversight for all server, storage, and backup operations within the Americas region, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of infrastructure services + Collaborate with the Global Server, Storage, and Backup Manager and regional leads in APAC and EMEA to ensure server, storage, and backup strategies are aligned and consistently implemented across all regions + Monitor infrastructure capacity and performance within the Americas, proactively planning scaling, upgrades, and improvements to meet business needs while adhering to global standards + Lead problem management activities for server, storage, and backup services in the region, leveraging ServiceNow to identify root causes and implement long-term corrective actions + Oversee incident management and disaster recovery processes for critical systems in the Americas, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity + Partner with cross-functional IT teams including Network, Security, and Applications to coordinate infrastructure changes, upgrades, and integrated service delivery + Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity requirements, and industry best practices across all regional infrastructure operations + Support and mentor technical staff in the Americas, promoting collaboration, professional growth, and continuous improvement + Contribute to the development of infrastructure documentation, standards, and procedures to maintain operational excellence and knowledge sharing Basic Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field + Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure roles focusing on server, storage, and backup systems, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management capacity + In-depth technical knowledge of enterprise server operating systems (Windows and Linux), VMware virtualization technologies, Pure and NetApp storage area networks, and Rubrik backup/recovery solutions + Experience in a regional IT environment supporting the Americas, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams across APAC and EMEA + Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL processes; hands-on experience using ServiceNow for incident and problem management is highly desirable + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement initiatives + Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, including guiding technical teams and managing performance of IT projects and service providers + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and clearly convey complex information Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation.
