Position Overview
RTX’s Enterprise Data Services (ES-Data) organization is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead delivery and execution of scalable digital and data products across our global Connected Factory and enterprise data ecosystem.
This role combines technical depth, product vision, and delivery excellence—bridging software engineering, data platforms, and business transformation. You will play a key role in advancing RTX’s Data Strategy, ensuring alignment across business units, platform teams, and enterprise partners.
What You Will Do:
+ Drive delivery of data platform capabilities enabling the Connected Factory and enterprise data ecosystem.
+ Translate business needs into technical roadmaps with Engineering, Data Science, and Operations.
+ Lead agile delivery, ensuring alignment across business, tech, and leadership teams.
+ Design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions (Azure/AWS/hybrid).
+ Oversee end-to-end development, from design to deployment and optimization.
+ Integrate cloud, APIs, and analytics to deliver real-time factory insights.
+ Champion Agile, DevSecOps, and analytics best practices; mentor TPMs and Scrum Masters.
+ Mitigate risks, remove blockers, and ensure compliance with governance and regulatory standards.
+ Foster cross-functional collaboration to accelerate adoption of Analytics and AI solutions.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
+ Experience: 7+ years of experience managing complex, technical, and digital product initiatives in enterprise environments.
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Knowledge of industrial IoT, manufacturing analytics, or connected factory systems.
+ Proven experience delivering data-driven or cloud-native products across multi-disciplinary teams.
+ Strong understanding of data and AI lifecycles, CI/CD, and modern data architectures (e.g., Kubernetes, containerization, APIs, data mesh).
+ Expertise in Agile/Scrum frameworks; certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe) strongly preferred.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage cross-cloud (Azure/AWS) delivery and integration at scale.
+ Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to balance technical and strategic priorities.
+ Experience with product management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
+ Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools (e.g., Unity Catalog, Purview, Informatica).
+ Background in software development or data engineering (hands-on or oversight level).
+ Experience working with distributed global teams in a fast-paced, enterprise setting.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
