Are you passionate about turning innovative concepts into reality? Do you thrive in dynamic environments? Raytheon is seeking a talented and motivated Systems Engineer to join our team within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline, supporting the LTAMDS program.
Raytheon is seeking a Principal System Engineer to join our LTAMDS Test Environments team in the LTAMDS & Ghosteye Department. The role of Capital Project Lead will be responsible for managing the cost, schedule, technical approach and execution of projects to develop and deploy new test infrastructure. SE&TC engineers are responsible for integration and system level testing of complex radar systems, identifying and resolving hardware, software, and networking issues, and developing automated or operator-driven tests in support of system-level integration, verification and validation.
What You Will Do:
+ Track project financials and provide monthly EAC & LRE updates
+ Monitor project milestones, track progress, and proactively identify risks or delays, implementing mitigation strategies as needed
+ Act as the primary point of contact between cross-functional teams including subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders
+ Facilitate and document regular status meetings, providing clear and actionable updates to leadership
+ Support hardware engineers in the upgrade of tactical and tactically representative systems
+ Develop detailed operational procedures for a new configuration, including startup, normal operations, and shutdown.
+ Provide day-to-day supervision of test environment(s) in which tactical or tactically representative systems are located
+ This role may require travel between Massachusetts sites and southern New Hampshire. This role may require domestic and international travel up to 10% of the time.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
+ Experience interfacing with internal and external customers
+ Experience in system integration & test, system design, or hardware engineering
+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Experience with managing cost and schedule utilizing Earned Value methodologies
+ Experience developing or maintaining test environments, including hardware in the loop systems, test equipment, or tactical system test sites
+ Experience working across functions to plan and execute a task or project
+ Experience with radar tactical hardware or simulation equipment

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
