Collins Aerospace is looking for a **Logistics Tech** who will be able to provide logistics support in a fast-paced high matrixed environment. You will be supporting the **MRO** ( **Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul** ) facility. You will ensure that the day-to-day logistics activities such as receiving and shipping customer units, as well as shipping parts, tooling, and other items is accomplished. You will interact with multiple programs, departments, customers, and suppliers.

What You Will Do:

+ Work onsite at our Foley, AL location

+ Work Split shift hours Monday – Thursday (8:15am – 5:15pm) Friday’s (8:15am – 2:15pm) _Hours are subject to change_

+ Will work weekends/overtime as needed

+ Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, safety vest, and other PPE as needed

+ Coordinates the receiving of customer units

+ Ships customer units, parts, tooling and other items as needed with applicable import and export requirements both domestically and internationally

+ Plans, schedules and manages all shipments and transportation

+ Maintain required paperwork for shipments

+ Provide clear, concise, and professional communication to customers and suppliers

+ Coordinate loading, unloading, and transportation of units using forklift and crane

+ Ensures work area is organized and clean

+ Participate in review of transportation carriers when required

+ Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and organized

+ Ensure standard work and processes are followed

+ Support strategic projects in support of facility and company goals

+ Review and present department metrics and supporting reports to suppliers, peers, and leadership

+ Able to travel up to 5% domestically and internationally when circumstances require

+ Performs other duties as required

Qualifications you must have:

+ Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post-high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

+ Relevant experience in shipping and receiving operations

+ Experience utilizing MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook systems

+ Experience using an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system

Qualifications we prefer:

+ SAP Experience

+ Experience with receiving and shipping processes

+ Experience troubleshooting and problem solving

+ Experience working in team environment and working effectively with all levels internal and external customers

+ Self-directed and action-oriented with the ability to work with minimal supervision

+ Experience presenting precise information to internal/external suppliers, customers, and leadership

+ Continuous Improvement process experience

The salary range for this role is 40,000 USD - 70,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
