    We are searching for a Senior Value Stream Manager to oversee our UH-60 Program. In this role, you will be responsible for indirectly leading a cross-functional Program Management Team (PMT) and accountable for the execution of all program commitments. This includes production deliveries, ensuring product quality, maintaining fleet reliability, resolving technical and operational issues, addressing commercial and contractual obligations, supporting aftermarket needs, and managing obsolescence challenges. This role requires strong program leadership, technical understanding, and the ability to navigate complex customer, contractual, and operational landscapes.

     

    The UH-60 program portfolio includes the Flight Control Computer (FCC) and Blade De-Ice System, critical components supporting a global fleet of over 4,000 aircraft. In this high-impact, individual contributor role, you will act as the primary liaison with the customer, advocating for their needs internally, driving customer satisfaction, and ensuring program success.

    What You Will Do

    + Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and program alignment.

    + Issue Resolution: Address and resolve commercial and contractual misalignments with the customer.

    + Program Leadership: Lead a cross-functional Program Management Team (PMT) to deliver on the value stream’s key objectives, including:

    + On-time hardware delivery with uncompromising quality standards.

    + Adherence to Company Funded Engineering (CFE) budget and schedule requirements.

    + Achievement of inventory reduction and overdue order targets.

    + Margin Improvement: Collaborate with product line teams to identify and execute margin expansion opportunities in alignment with overall program goals.

    + Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks across technical, commercial, and industrial domains. Develop actionable risk mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.

    + Opportunity Development: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to improve program execution and develop associated implementation plans.

    + Program Reporting: Deliver clear and concise program updates, including status, risks, and opportunities, at regular cadence reviews and to all levels of business leadership as required.

    Qualifications You Must Have

    + Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

    Qualifications We Prefer

    + Background in program management, aftermarket program management, supply chain management and/or operations management.

    + Working experience leading cross-functional teams in a complex aerospace or defense environment.

    + Strong customer relationship management skills, with a track record of resolving contractual and operational challenges.

    + Experience in a customer facing role is desired.

    Role type definition:

    **Hybrid:** Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

    The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

     

    RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

     

    Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

     

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
