We have an exciting opportunity in our Precision Fires & Maneuver (PF&M) Program Area for a **Manager, Contracts,** supporting the Tube-Launched Optically Tracked Wireless Guided (TOW) Missile program. This position will lead contract management activities, throughout the lifecycle, for production contracts. The successful applicant will support the development of proposals, as well as management and administration of contracts, with the primary customer being the Department of Defense. Duties include analyzing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), conducting contract negotiations and providing general contract administration. The selected applicant will interface with multiple customers on contracting matters and ensure that proposed and negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies as well as advise program management of contractual rights and obligations and means to mitigate contractual/program risks.
The position will be well suited for a highly motivated, well-organized person who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Your responsibilities will include developing creative approaches to solving problems while employing sound change management and communication skills.
What You Will Do
+ Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives, and comply with company policies
+ Professionally represent Raytheon on contractual transactions and work closely with customers to develop business relationships
+ Act as a lead for the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contracts execution, as well as general contract administration
+ Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure work is performed to the overall contract scope
+ Identify, mitigate, and drive the resolution of contractual issues as they may arise
+ Work closely within cross-functional teams to construct, submit, and negotiate Terms and Conditions and pricing proposals, examine and understand cost structure estimates of labor, material, engineering services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
+ Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations as well as possible mitigation of contractual/program risks
+ Minimum periodic travel will be required to customer locations to meet with customer teams and attend Program Management Reviews (PMR)
Qualifications You Must Have
+ Typically requires University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 5 years of experience
+ Experience in Contracts and/or Subcontracts/Procurement management/administration
+ Experience in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
Qualifications We Prefer
+ Strong collaboration and relationship building skills cross-functionally with the program office, leads and customers demonstrating trust, respect and accountability
+ Excellent time management and organizational skills, and the ability to handle numerous assignments concurrently
+ Related contract administration and change management experience, including hands-on proposal preparation and contract negotiations with the DoD with a strong understanding of financial aspects of contracts and other business arrangements
+ Willingness to provide experienced guidance and support to junior team members on contractual complexities
+ Ability to recognize business and contractual issues in program performance and help implement solutions; carry out tasks to completion while exercising good judgment with minimal supervision

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
