Summary of Role:

Raytheon Technologies (RTX) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Azure Cloud Platform Engineer with strong software development capabilities. This role will lead the development and enhancement of automation code and platform services that support RTX Azure landing zones and application teams.

Qualifications You Must Have:

+ Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience **or** an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience **or** in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

+ Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure, including:  Landing zone architecture and deployment, Multi-subscription governance and identity management (RBAC), Azure Policy design and enforcement.

+ Advanced Terraform, Ansible, Bicep, PowerShell, development, including:  Modular design, testing frameworks, and CI/CD integration.

+ Strong Python or other language development skills, including: Azure Functions and Azure SDK for Python, Writing production-grade, testable code using Pytest, Refactoring and debugging complex codebases.
