    The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services team:

    What You Will Do

    + Identify opportunities for automation individually and by working with colleagues in the Cloud Center of Enablement and internal customers.

    + Design, develop, test, implement automation in cloud environments utilizing Ansible, cloud native tools, and other tools.

    + Resolve incidents and fulfill service requests.

    + Investigate and permanently resolve problems. Contribute to proactive problem management.

    + Contribute to compliance and vulnerability management through patching, endpoint protection, and maintenance of key software installed on VMs.

    + Apply technical expertise to design, develop, deploy, and maintain monitoring using tools such as: Datadog, Microsoft Azure Monitor, Amazon Cloudwatch, Netscout, Statseeker.

    + Integrate monitoring and vulnerability management tools with each other, and with datamart and data visualization/reporting tools to create consolidated views.

    + Design, build, test, maintain automated responses to events detected by monitoring tools (i.e. self healing).

    + Work as part of an Agile product team, taking objectives from the Product Owner, breaking them down in to detailed increments, and delivering the committed capability on time.

    + Contribute to knowledge management, onboarding, and up-skilling of members of the Cloud Center of Enablement and consumers of the cloud services.

    + Perform other Cloud Platform Operations duties as requested by leadership.

    + This role requires participation in a 24/7 on call roster.

    Qualifications You Must Have

    + Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

    + Minimum 5 years experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Datadog. Other automation, orchestration, and observability tools may be considered.

    + Extensive experience in IT automation, with a preference for infrastructure and cloud automation.

    + Broad technology experience covering multiple elements of infrastructure, application, and database experience.

     

    Qualifications We Prefer

     

    Certification in AWS, Azure, or OCI.

     

    •10+ years experience in IT operations and/or engineering.
