RTX Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) with demonstrated project management skills who will be closely accountable for ensuring supplier termination performance. You must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program goals, and able to successfully interface with varying levels of management. The MPM is accountable to overall supplier management, performance and success. As the interface between Supply Chain, the Program Office/Integrated Product Team (IPT), supplier, and other functions working on both termination and contract closeout lifecycles; this role is responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies and ensuring organizational and program objectives are achieved.
The ideal candidate will have project management skills and be directly accountable for ensuring overall execution of materials management. Key responsibilities include supplier material management, material forecasting, ensuring cost and schedule and quality requirements are met, creating metrics to monitor GSCM health, supplier assessments, and future proposal activities.
What You Will Do
+ Drive processes to successful completion in support of a very aggressive schedule of deliveries
+ Support for Gates 0-11 activities, EAC review, program review, and risk and opportunity management reviews
+ Use critical thinking skills to propose sound and innovative business solutions to increase operational efficiencies to ensure business area and program success.
+ Must have the capability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
+ Process information from multiple sources to achieve a successful outcome
+ Identify/Generate material risks and opportunities in alignment with program execution
+ Support planning, execution, and reporting of material and labor budgets, earned value management, estimate at complete reporting and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments
+ Material Program Management (MPM) Certification required within one (1) year in the role
+ Manages, and implements material program strategy (MPS) and the material program plan (MPP) (as applicable)
+ Overall ownership of the supplier management process including supplier performance, supply chain metrics, Make/Buy Where strategy, strategic agreements, and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.
+ Support supply chain proposal activities including pricing and bases of estimates.
+ Develop, lead, and implement common schedule creation, supply chain proposal activities, and risk/opportunity plans to meet program goals.
+ Travel up to 25% domestically as required
Qualifications You Must Have
+ Experience using manufacturing or enterprise planning tools, including MRP (Kinaxis/ SAP/PRISM).
+ Minimum 3 years experience in program/project management, supply chain function, operations, procurement, and/or material management role.
+ Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
+ Experience in desktop computing tools (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project).
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
This position requires a security clearance. **DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS)** , an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Qualifications We Prefer
+ Experience working in the defense industry within the supply chain function
+ Working experience as a Cost Account Manager
+ Earned Value Management (EVM) certification or equivalent.
+ Experience implementing continuous improvement, Six Sigma or Lean methodologies/principals

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
