             **Description:** The F\-35 Hardware Processor Manager leads a high performing, multidisciplinary technical workforce that spans engineering, software product acquisition, and project management\. This role ensures laser focused technical execution, seamless alignment across the Line of Business \(LOB\) and Program Management \(PM\) organizations, and the delivery of critical customer solutions\. People Leadership & Talent Management • Recruit, hire, and onboard top‑tier engineers and Software Product Acquisition Managers \(SPAMs\)\. • Develop career‑path plans, mentor, and coach team members to accelerate skill growth\. • Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and manage labor‑force planning to meet project demand\. Technical Program Execution • Define clear roles, responsibilities, and deliverable ownership for all team members\. • Drive execution priorities that directly support customer and program objectives\. • Monitor key performance indicators \(KPIs\), schedule health, and risk mitigation; intervene promptly to keep milestones on track\. Bid & Proposal Coordination • Lead the development of competitive bids and proposals \(B&Ps\) for upcoming work‑scope\. • Work closely with Cost Account Managers \(CAMs\) to maintain accurate cost estimates, track expenditures, and forecast resource needs\. • Ensure B&P documentation aligns with technical strategy and compliance requirements\. Stakeholder & Partner Relations • Build and sustain strong relationships across internal LOB, PM, and external partner communities\. • Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership, customers, and suppliers on technical matters\. • Identify, attract, and retain high‑potential talent; champion a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing\. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science in a STEM field • Experience with leading technical teams, mentoring junior engineers, and/or experience forming and growing a high performing multidiscipline team\. • In\-depth operational, developmental, integration, and test experience with modern avionics hardware\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\.
