Quality Technician | Harland, Wisconsin

Direct Hire | Full-time | 2** **nd** **shift

Kelly Engineering is seeking a **2** **nd** **shift Quality Technician** to join our client’s manufacturing team.

**Targeted pay rate:** $25/hr with shift premium

Duties / Responsibilities

+ Plan and perform detailed analyses, inspections, tests, and integrations to ensure the highest product and component quality

+ Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods to evaluate production processes and drive effective improvements

+ Accurately document quality data in accordance with company policies and procedures

+ Identify challenges and develop innovative solutions to enhance quality assurance outcomes

+ Communicate significant quality issues, trends, and improvement opportunities to relevant stakeholders

+ Prepare and deliver clear, data-driven technical reports and program updates

+ Track, analyze, and reduce scrap rates through targeted process improvement initiatives

Desired skills and experience

+ Associate degree or completion of a 2-year technical program

+ Minimum 2 years of experience in an ISO 9001–certified manufacturing environment

+ Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of basic statistical methods and Statistical Process Control (SPC)

+ Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints; experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) in ISO 9001 or ISO 17025 environments

+ Proficiency working within an ERP system

+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office programs

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating integrity and professionalism

+ Ability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

+ Ability to pass background check and drug screening
