Job Description The Field Tools & Analytics Manager is responsible for leading their respective Immunology franchises to oversee the design, deployment, training, communications, and management of Field Analytical and CRM tools. This position drives field force effectiveness through strategic partnership with the stakeholders to identify compliant systems solutions and enhancements and streamline processes, in alignment with the Immunology strategies. This position is the subject matter expert on Immunology sales tools, system compliance related work streams and business processes that relate to field force activities. Key Responsibilities Include: Stakeholder Management: + Field Tools Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary point of contact for field sales leaders across AbbVie’s Immunology teams. + Lead coordinated efforts with the in-house and field leadership teams for list of values leveraged in the system, segmentation, best practices and other infield team effectiveness initiatives to improve infield strategic execution. + Support the on-boarding of new teams through new hire training, where applicable + Understand and align with enterprise strategy and drive field tool improvements in support of this strategy + Provide reporting and insights on field execution metrics for Sales Leadership needs, and where applicable, ad hoc reporting System Management: + Design, Testing, and Deployment for on-going field tool releases and enhancements (Veeva CRM, Salesforce, Qlik, Power BI, etc). + Coordinate across multiple cross-functional partners to ensure business requirements are well defined and approved; organize project plans for systems deployment, communication and training, and ensure deployment is coordinated. + Proactively recommend improvements to streamline current processes and reduce cycle time across related work streams and systems. + Proactive engagement with in house and field Immunology sales leadership users to provide system enhancement/business process recommendations. Escalated support for Field Help Desk Cases and root cause investigation, analysis, and resolution of systems related issues. + Collaborate with in-house teams to create processes and documentation to ensure strong technical support for CRM application users, including field users, Regulatory, Legal, OEC, Medical Affairs, Operations, and others, including management of Field Help Desk knowledge base. Project Management + Cross functional leadership across APEX and CoE to roll out projects in scope and on time. + Develop project plans that integrate and align with cross departmental processes and other projects and provide resourceful solutions to overcome project hurdles. + Act as a resource to provide innovative solutions to mitigate risks, manage competing customer priorities, facilitate contingency plans, maximize cost-effective resource utilization, and improve field force effectiveness. Communication and Training + Develop communication and training plans for Field Tools enhancements to ensure effective end-user understanding of the business and the strategic advantage of each enhancement. + Lead Initial Field Training and Advanced Field Training Classes (IFTC & AFTC) for new field hires on field analytical tools. + Provide APEX support during field meetings and present systems capabilities to key internal stakeholders. Qualifications + Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, technical, or health-related field required (Master’s degree in business, IT, or science preferred) + 5+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry, specific experience with infield activities, roles and behaviors with a strong customer and operations focus preferred. + 5+ years of experience in supporting the implementation of new technology related systems and processes and/or project management. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive meaningful insights from data and reporting. + Confidence in providing subject matter expertise to director level leadership. + Effective prioritization of multiple simultaneously occurring tasks/initiatives. + Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. + Ability to develop and execute innovative, creative solutions that effectively visualize and communicate data insights. + Excellent business acumen, understanding of Compliance, Legal, Med/Reg drivers and guidance. + Ability to clearly and confidently articulate complex and difficult concepts. + Proficient with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, SmartSheet, Power BI, etc). Proficient with Excel advanced features for data analysis, reports, macros, pivot tables, and lookup tables. + Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry compliance regulations and standards preferred. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
