    Job Description

    Purpose

    The Associate Director, Compliance is a key leader in the Risk & Compliance team responsible for strategically developing and implementing procurement policy and requirements. This role oversees procurement compliance, leading the deployment of changes in policy and requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams to adapt policy. The role leads Compliance Managers, sets clear objectives, and cultivates a team environment that values strategic thinking innovative problem-solving, and AI-enabled compliance policy management.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and implement a risk-based compliance model integrating AI-driven monitoring and analytics along with procurement policy and requirements, to align with organizational objectives and industry best practices to minimize compliance risks.

    + Oversee function compliance across all procurement policy and innovate new methods of tracking, monitoring, and reporting for compliance-related issues.

    + Lead the deployment of changes in procurement policy or requirements, including updates to risk taxonomy, compliance escalations, and governance strategies, ensuring adoption of new compliance responsibilities and AI- assisted compliance tools.

    + Oversee the execution of compliance initiatives including requirements gathering, policy adjustments, and compliance tracking, embedding automation and anomaly detection into project delivery.

    + Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to understand necessary changes to Procurement policy or requirements and translate compliance or policy requirements, ensuring clarity, alignment, and executive level communication throughout project delivery

    + Oversee monitoring and reporting on compliance across categories and suppliers, using predictive analytics and assessing both the ongoing applicability of policies given the dynamic compliance landscape and major gaps in current-state compliance.

    + Drive continuous improvement initiatives by staying abreast of regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices, and proactively adapting compliance processes to address evolving risks and challenges.

    + Provide leadership and guidance to Compliance Managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Maintain business ownership of deployed AI use cases, including developing AI roadmap for Compliance and ensuring responsible model training and readiness.

    + Set clear objectives and performance metrics for direct reports, developing a culture of accountability and communicating compliance goals, value and success metrics with clarity

    + Cultivate a team environment that values strategic thinking, innovative problem-solving, and continuous learning.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field. Master’s degree is preferred.

    + Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, quality assurance, supplier management, audit, supply chain, or related business or operations function.

    + Knowledge of AI governance and responsible AI in relation to Procurement Compliance.

    + Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing senior internal business and functional leaders.

    + Experience leading the management compliance policy and inspection strategy in a procurement function.

    + Proven expertise in compliance management and strong familiarity with industry requirements.

    + Demonstrated experience leveraging AI, data analytics, or digital compliance tools to strengthen compliance and risk management.

    + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

    + Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

    + The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. ​

    + We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.​

    + This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​

    + This job is eligible to participate in our long-term incentive programs​

    Salary: $137,500 - $261,000
