    _MUST HAVE 6 MONTHS PEDIATRIC PHLEBOTOMY EXPERIENCE_

    + **Facility:** Outreach - HAMPTON LAKES

    + **Location:** Tampa (Westchase), FL

    + **Status:** Fulltime

    + **Shift Hours:** 7:00am-3:30pm

    + **Weekend Work:** Occasional

    + **On Call:** No

    Responsibilities:

    The Lab Medical Assistant II is responsible for:

    + Collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing

    + Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens

    + Referring specimens to outside laboratories

    + Interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests

    + Performance of phlebotomy procedures

    + Performs other duties as assigned

    Experience:

    + Required - 6 months Phlebotomy, Laboratory related; or related field

    Education:

    + Required High School or equivalent

    + Or Bachelors related field in lieu of experience

    Credentials:

    + Driver's License

    Credential equivalent experience:

    + Preferred Phlebotomy
