    Operations Manager

     

    Do you have a passion for Influencing production excellence and driving continuous improvement? As the Operations Manager for our Clinton Plant, you will be the key leader overseeing the entire production process, ensuring our teams are high-performing and our operations are highly efficient. You'll create cross-functional partnerships to strategically lead initiatives in safety, quality, and factory performance, directly contributing to the success of the plant and developing our future talent. You will make a measurable impact on key performance indicators like asset utilization and first-pass release.

    Responsibilities:

    + Lead the continuous improvement strategy across the plant, focusing on efficiency, asset utilization, and leveraging Factory Performance & Reliability (FP&R) standards for a high-performing operation.

    + Drive significant business impact by partnering with Environmental Health Safety (EHS) and Quality, ensuring adherence to all policies, safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

    + Engage with and manage day-to-day operations through Team Leaders, providing visible leadership, coaching, and performance management to promote a well-trained, highly motivated workforce.

    + Foster productive cross-functional partnerships with Quality, Engineering, and EOHS to effectively implement new product start-ups and support Fund-the-Growth (FTG) savings initiatives.

    + Develop effective communication strategies to drive team performance and ensure alignment on key metrics like Pounds Produced, Schedule Adherence, and Absolute Material Loss.

    + Function as a resource for troubleshooting business systems, plant floor systems, and controls issues, while also assisting in the preparation of project justifications for capital projects

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's Degree required in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a Business-related field.

    + Minimum of 10 years of progressive supply chain experience.

    + Minimum of 5 years in production/operation management, including project or process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + MBA or an Engineering degree preferred.

    + Expertise in lean manufacturing, Continuous Improvement Plans, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and FP&R Guidelines.

    + Demonstrated Leadership experience and strong cross-organizational collaboration skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate with key partners and communicate effectively.

    + Strong Data-driven decision-making skills and statistical analysis knowledge/experience.

    + Proficiency in software/tools including Google applications (Docs, Forms, Sheets, Slides)

    + Proficiency in SAP or other related ERP system

     

    Physical Demands & Working Environment

    Candidates for this role should be aware of the following physical and environmental demands:

    **Physical Demands (Constantly Required):** Standing, Walking, Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, Pulling, Climbing, Balancing, Reaching, Handling, Feeling, Talking, Hearing, and Eye/Hand/Foot Coordination.

    + Sitting is required Frequently.

    + Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, and Grasping are required Occasionally.

    **Working Environment** : The role requires working in areas with Extreme Cold and Extreme Heat, Humid conditions, Temperature Change, and Atmospheric Conditions.

    Compensation and Benefits

    Salary Range $120,000.00 - $151,200.00 USD

     

    Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

     

    Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
