As a **Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol - Full Time** in **Santa Clara, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible within a healthcare environment. Your role includes monitoring assigned areas, responding to security-related situations promptly, and providing outstanding customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established guidelines for healthcare environments.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as directed.

+ Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas according to site-specific protocols.

+ Assist staff, visitors, and/or patients with directions or information as needed while maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
