As a **Security Professional - Unarmed Retail Patrol Full-Time** in **Sherman Oaks, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for visitors, staff, and property. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail location in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe conditions that may require attention.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas for any suspicious behavior or potential disturbances.

+ Communicate professionally with store staff, visitors, and/or patrons while maintaining a visible presence.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents and/or unusual occurrences observed during patrols.

+ Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client site instructions to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A valid security guard card or license is preferred.

+ Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
