As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated manufacturing and food production locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible and approachable presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting employees and visitors, and providing excellent customer service and communication. You will also utilize technology, such as computers or tablets, to support your duties. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.

+ Maintain awareness of surroundings to help to deter theft, loss, or other security-related incidents in a manufacturing and industrial environment, including areas where food and beverage operations may take place.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances encountered during patrols.

+ Interact with employees, visitors, and/or contractors in a professional manner while providing guidance or assistance as required by site procedures.

+ Assist emergency personnel and Allied Universal management during emergency and/or evacuation situations as directed by post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
