As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment within a retail setting. This position requires you to carry a firearm as part of your daily duties. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas to assist in helping to deter theft and maintain a secure environment for patrons and staff.

+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.

+ Interact with visitors, patrons, and employees in a courteous manner, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.

+ Maintain awareness of surroundings during patrols and while stationed to help to deter unauthorized access or activities.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
