What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities encountered during patrols within the premises.

+ Collaborate with retail staff and/or management as needed while maintaining a professional presence.

+ Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities and incidents as required by site protocols.

+ Assist visitors and customers by providing directions and general assistance as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of experience as a security supervisor or manager or 3 years of security-related experience.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
