As a **Security Officer - Logistics Entry Control Specialist** in **Lathrop, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, helping to deter incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone onsite. You will be highly visible throughout your shift, communicating clearly and responding to various situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for access control.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

+ Monitor access points, verify credentials, and manage entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles as part of access control procedures.

+ Document observations, incidents, and/or actions taken during the shift according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
