As a Patrol Armed Officer at a prominent retail location, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols, assisting with security-related incidents, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter potential risks. What You'll Do:

+ Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and professional manner, using problem-solving skills.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.

+ Monitor for suspicious activity or persons and report findings according to site procedures.

+ Enforce access control procedures and check identification as required by site policies.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and observations as required by site protocols.

+ Assist local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents at the location.

+ Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while performing all assigned duties.

+ Follow all weapon handling protocols as outlined by Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

+ **Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.**

+ **Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.**

+ **A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.**

+ **Level III armed certification is required for Texas.**

+ **A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.**

+ **Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.**

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
