    Summary This Human Resources (Developmental) Assistant, NF-02/03 position is located at Fort Detrick, Maryland. This is not a remote position. Responsibilities Performs a wide variety of technical support, focused primarily in the areas of recruitment and staffing. Coordinates with management officials to recruit for position vacancies. Extends job offers, conducts pre-employment screenings and assists selectees during pre-employment processes. Uses automated systems to track requests for personnel actions and continually updates status of assigned personnel actions. Coordinates entrance on duty dates once pre-employment requirements are met, prepares new hire paperwork and provides new employee orientation briefings. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: NF-02 (Developmental) Possess six (6) months of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, which demonstrates the ability to accomplish various human resources tasks and utilize human resource information systems. The experience and ability listed above must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. NF-03 1. Possess six (6) months of work experience in a human resources profession which demonstrates the capability to perform a variety of recruitment support, employee relations support or personnel action processing functions. 2. Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 3. Ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems. The experience and ability listed above must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Applicants will possess prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office. Education Additional Information Area of Consideration This job is open to candidates who reside within the local commuting area (50 Miles) of Fort Detrick, MD (Incoming military spouses set to report in the next 30 days and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) Preference eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.)
