As a **Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Logistics** in **Jacksonville, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment within a bustling logistics and distribution location. Your duties include conducting routine patrols, staying visible to promote a sense of security, and delivering outstanding customer service through professional communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide outstanding customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the operation of a logistics and distribution location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence within the logistics and distribution environment.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verifying authorized access and helping to prevent loss or damage to property.

+ Document security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols and report findings to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.

+ Collaborate with staff and visitors to promote a secure and orderly environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
