As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout a retail and mall location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This position requires carrying a firearm and involves driving as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

+ Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as needed.

+ Conduct scheduled and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

+ Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms in accordance with company and site-specific guidelines.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.

+ Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency responders as required by incident protocols.

+ Remain alert to any unusual or suspicious activity and promptly communicate observations to appropriate personnel.

+ Provide guidance and support during emergency situations in alignment with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal training.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
